Julian and Richard John’s Comrade Rockstar is released on SimG Records and their musical adaptation of The Devil’s Advocate (written with Andrew Neiderman) is scheduled to open in Korea in 2019. 

 

Julian is also the author of How Musicals Work and Head of Musical Theatre at GSA (Guildford School of Acting). He was Artistic Director of Sevenoaks Playhouse; Artistic Director of the Global Search for New Musicals at the International Festival of Musical Theatre Cardiff and Associate Director of the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.

Directing credits include: London: 2 Boys In A Bed On A Cold Winter’s Night (Arts Theatre); The Musical of Musicals, (Sound Theatre & King’s Head); Let Him Have Justice (Cochrane Theatre); Jacques Brel Is Alive And Well… (King’s Head); The Bakewell Bake-Off (Landor Theatre). National tours: Oklahoma!; South Pacific; Carousel; Fiddler On The Roof (2003 & 2008) and Murdered to Death. Overseas: The Importance of Being Earnest and Mrs Warren’s Profession (English Theatre of Hamburg), Two Pianos, Four Hands; I Do! I Do! and Deadly Murder (Vienna); …And The Pursuit of Happiness (Off-Broadway) and many productions in British regional theatres.
