It is the final of one of the most prestigious events in the classical music and television calendar - The Young Musician of the Year Competition. Backstage, the tension is mounting for all of the five finalists, each of whom face their own individual challenges. Amid parental pressure and bitter rivalry, an unexpected teenage romance blooms, causing complications that question the integrity of the whole competition.
