Nevill Coghill (Co-Author, Lyricist) is best known for his translation of Chaucer s Canterbury Tales which became a best-seller. He directed A Midsummer Night s Dream for Sir John Gielgud. He collaborated with Richard Burton (his former student) and Elizabeth Taylor in their stage and film production of Dr. Faustus. Since retiring from his post the Merton Chair of English Literature at Oxford he has become quite active in stage productions.
