Rocky
This powerful and touching musical based on the Academy Award-winning Best Picture is sure to be a knock-out on your stage!

Featuring a tuneful score by the Tony Award-winning team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, with a touching book by Thomas Meehan and Sylvester Stallone, Rocky brings the classic, Academy Award-winning 1976 film to life on stage.

Rocky tells the story of Rocky Balboa, a small-time boxer from working-class Philadelphia, who is chosen to take on the reigning world heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed, when the undefeated fighter's scheduled opponent is injured. While training with his coach, former bantamweight contender Mickey, Rocky tentatively begins a relationship with Adrian, the wallflower sister of his meat-packer pal Paulie. They establish a touching rapport, especially in the scenes featuring Rocky’s efforts to coax Adrian out of her own shell.

At its heart, Rocky is a tender love story exploring the depth and complexity of Rocky and Adrian's relationship - creating two iconic and relatable starring roles. An ensemble and many featured roles round make this musical perfect for your mainstage production.
