There are only a small number of group places remaining for the 2020 Junior Theatre Festival, which takes place on Saturday 9th May in Birmingham.

What? A chance to perform, learn, share and celebrate

The Junior Theatre Festival will feature 50 school and youth groups from across the globe. Participants from countries including: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Georgia, Australia and the USA will gather for adjudications, workshops and performances of new Broadway Junior shows to be released, culminating in an awards ceremony featuring special guest performances.

Following the success of our inaugral Junior Theatre Celebrations in 2017 and 2018, the 2019 event was rebranded as the Junior Theatre Festival (JTF). 36 groups gathered at The ICC in Birmingham on Saturday 11th May. The groups shared Broadway Junior performances, took part in workshops presented by teaching artistss from Disney's The Lion King, Mamma Mia! and Wicked as well as watching performances from Miriam-Teak Lee (currently starring in & Juliet) and Sophie-Louise Dann.
