We're thrilled to announce that rights to Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR. are now available to amateur and youth groups.
Fresh from a hugely successful UK and Ireland tour, as well as a limited run at London's Palladium, this classic Disney show is available in two versions:
- The full, 2-act version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast is now available for licensing in venues with a published seating capacity of no more than 400 seats. Ticket prices must not exceed £16.
- The 60-minute, Broadway Junior version of the show is available for licensing by youth groups where performers are under 18 years of age.
- Licensing to schools continues and remains unaffected by this recent announcement.
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
This "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costume and set opportunities or, even more simply staged, Disney's Beauty and the Beast offers a great opportunity to bring your entire community together for family theatre at its best.
