Mama, mama! I sang with an Alley Cat! He was nice!
I'm as tough as any old Alley Cat. Meow-fft!
Woh, tiger!
Can I ride on your back, Mr. Abraham deLacy Guiseppe Casey Thomas O'Malley?
(to DUCHESS)
Wait a minute. Do all these belong to you?
Yes, they are my Kittens: Marie, Toulouse and Berlioz. Can you help us get back to Paris?
Kittens! Heh heh, I would love to take you all to Paris but I... I...
(sighs, disappointed)
We understand. Thank you for the song, Mr. O'Malley. Come on, Kittens.
(The ARISTOCATS turn away.)
Good move, O'Malley. You don't need that kind of trouble.
Yeah, snooty Aristocats - who needs 'em?

(The ALLEY CATS exit.)
You know what, O'Malley? You're not a cat; you're a rat. So what if they're Aristocats. A cat in need is a cat in need and that's that!

(Offstage)

Marie!
(The CATS run off. The ALLEY CATS enter and form a river with fabric. MARIE enters and "falls" in.)
Help me! I've fallen in the river!
(O'MALLEY runs on and dives into the river.)
Don't worry! I gotcha!
(O'MALLEY gives MARIE a push out of the river. DUCHESS, BERLIOZ and TOULOUSE enter and run to her.)
Oh, Marie! Thank goodness you're safe.
How come you had to fall in the river?
(MARIE sticks her tongue out at TOULOUSE, who returns the favor. O'MALLEY struggles in the water.)
Help!
We got a problem.
O'Malley can't swim either!
Help!
Nobody knows how to swim.
We're cats!
Oh, dear. Isn't there anyone here who can swim?

No! Let me tell you his name.
Okay mousie, what's his name?

Gee Your Soup Is Pasty?

That's strike three, mousie. You're about to become mouse mousse.
(The ALLEY CATS move in.)
