Streaming Scheduled Content: Sell Tickets to Your Past Productions

Generate Revenue with a Scheduled Content Streaming Rights Licence

Shine the spotlight on your past productions, safely stream a past or current production with the Scheduled Content Streaming Rights Licence. If you find a streaming platform that allows you to protect the content with a password, you can sell tickets to your pre-recorded show to air at certain times - all while keeping your cast, crew, and audiences digitally connected and socially distanced.

Using Scheduled Content

A Scheduled Content Streaming Licence gives you the chance to create excitement around a theatrical event featuring your cast, crew, and organisation.

This Licence allows you to upload a pre-recorded performance of an MTI show for your customers to view at scheduled times. An example could be an archival video from a previous production OR a brand new production you want to record and stream at a later date.

Customers purchase tickets to a particular performance and your organisation declares to MTI what you took in online ticket sales. MTI will charge you a Streaming Licence Fee of £75 plus 15% of each online ticket sold + VAT. There are no minimum royalties to meet.

Getting Started with Your Licence

First, you need to check if the show you previously performed is available to stream.

If your show does have one of these licences available, email us to let us know that you'd like to arrange a Scheduled Content Streaming Licence.

If you already purchased a Video Licence for your past performance, you will not be charged for a new Video Licence. If you want to upload a past archival show for Scheduled Content and a Video Licence was NOT available at the time of your performance, and one is available now, you will be charged for a new Video Licence in addition to the Streaming Licence.
